Eye Movement De-sensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) 

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a technique used to help clients suffering from unresolved psychological trauma. EMDR uses rapid eye movements whilst recalling the traumatic event with negative thoughts, beliefs, feelings and memories associated with it. The memory is then 'reprogrammed'  using rapid eye movements with a positive belief attached to it.

Person Centred Therapy is non-directive and views the client to be the expert on their own difficulties. The Psychologists role is to provide acceptance, empathy and transparency for positive change in the client to take place
